I took the afternoon of yesterday and played for 8 hours. I love it. So much detail. I like the newer car physics than make you use the brakes. Its not a sim but I like it. I also like the hood view that you can look around in.
BTW, I have the PS3 version.

I picked it up yesterday as well. It looks very cool. I havent played it yet, but very much looking forward to it.

My son was begging me for this game, and he's almost 16 so I figured what the hell, he's seen worse on TV and in the movies....and last night he came in to tell me goodnight and said that he's never, NEVER played anything like it (espcially since he's never played GTA before), but was just knocked out by the depth of the world, how it real it seemed to him.

Here's a few things he told me he did in the first couple of hours of playing that just blew me away...

- He went shopping for clothes

- Stopped in a place to eat, bought food and chowed down

- He was driving along, turned a corner and rear-ended a police car...they told him to get out of the car with their guns drawn, searched him and called in his info but there were no warrants out for him so he wasn't arrested. But it screwed up his car pretty good.

- He asked a girl out on a date, they went out bowling (which he bowled a game in the game!), and then took her back home. She even complimented him on his new clothes

Absolutely incredible, the depth of the world within this game. While it does have a tarnished reputation because of the Hot Coffee stuff that Rockstar was stupid enough to put into San Andreas, I just can't say enough about how impressive this game is and that anyone with a 360 or PS3 needs to get it just to see for themselves.

Wait until he picks up a hooker and takes her to a secluded area. Then the fun begins. Also you can go drinking in the game and when you come out of the bar you are wasted. There did a great job of the stager physics. Call a cab as driving drunk i game it very hard.

So Tim have a go for a few hours, you'll be hooked.

At first it was just gonna be an XBox title but I was glad to see they picked up Sony as well..next up PC woot
