Grid Demo!!!

Hey Guys,

Anyone with a XBOX 360 MUST download and try the GRID DEMO! It's fantastic! I am really really happy with it. The graphics are great, the controls are solid, & the damage is crazy! I love it & I will buy it instantly.









Although...... I first downloaded the PC DEMO that is available with high hopes. I jumped into the car, switched to the hood cam and off we went I got to turn 1 and couldn't see what I was doing there was too much blur effect going on & it was worse when I actually turned the car around the corner. (No Blur in 360 Version) I proceed to restart the race and try it again and I sort of got use to it but I noticed the car was oversteering way too much so I went into the control settings to figure it out but I was already at max and all I could do was make the car looser! WTF! So I farted around with the visual & control settings with no aval. I am truely hoping that they fix these as I was hoping we could have run fun races with this game but if they don't fix these issues it won't be as good PC game as the 360 version will be.

i downloaded and installed....looks real good...but is it jut me or does the race start in reverse..lol at start of race it would put me in reverse while the cars in the grid would take off.....and would not let me configure my g25 .. had some preset g25 configuration that did not make sense...??? was screwed up man.. looked good though...was a quick test anways.

I never had the reverse problem with the PC demo.

Its quite possible the G25 doesn't work with the demo properly as I was reading only the DFP works right for the demo.

HOLY!! that is all i can say!! played it over the long weekend and Holy!! I got the G25 to work properly and i had lots of fun throwing the Mustang and BMW around!! I found it hard to learn the tracks...seem easier in gtr and r factor... there is so much going on around you. I could not understand to play on line though...could not join..just spectate..and when i tried to make my own server with two computers at home i could not join myself, COULD SEE ME THOUGH....hate wasting time on that crap!! the drifting ? well, that is something i need alot of time and practice cause i just cant get it..lmao
another game that needs computer power for sure!! works pretty good on my rig .
