Champion Fun Series Presents First CMS iRacing Challenge!

I've been thinking for a while now about how to get something going that is structured, yet fun here at CMS with respect to iRacing! I know a lot of you are on the service, and it is really evolving nicely. So, I have come up with this format -- presented by the

Champion Fun Series (which will bring winners, website tracking, bragging rights, etc! )

We will have 2 CMS Fun Series Ranking Championships for iRacing Season 4. They will be using the following 2 iRacing series.

A) Chevy Silverado Championship (Oval Racing)


B) Star Mazda Championship (Road Racing)



Basically the way this will work is that those of you on iRacing simply continue to run races as you normally would. At the conclusion of iRacing Season 4, we will do a rank and crown our winners amongst the CMS community -- based on which driver scores the most iRacing Championship Points in each the Road and the Oval Series. All participating drivers will be recognized!

So, you normally accrue Championship Points against everyone in the iRacing community when you race. Now you will also be earning them respective to your other CMS iRacing friends.

Feel free to post here as the season goes on with results, stories of how you are doing, screenshots, etc and I will feature on the website.

you can always jump back in Ron! the trucks are worth it. If you thought they were fun in N2003, skip forward 6 years and think of the possibilities.

Well, it was an interesting week for me. I started off with a second place finish in the Star Mazda series and had a good amount of points. I couldn't just take the rest of the week off so I kept racing. The next four races I placed 6th or worse!

The mazda is a lot of fun but takes a good amount of concentration. I think it's going to take me a little while before i can be consistantly quick.

The truck races have been insane this week. I ran them for the first half of the week with some decent results. I decided to quit about midweek before it took my SR rating down too low. I'm looking forward to running milwakee this coming week. These trucks are going to be a blast!
