CMS iRacing Thread - Check in Here when you are on the Service!

Check in here when you are up and running on iRacing. AS you all know the service is going into it's first release soon. Several of us have been testing the BETA. And have been able to invite a limited number of additional folks. I sent my 10 alloted invites today to various members of the Champion Community ... I am sure some of the other BETA testers amongst us may have some allocations left if anyone is interested.

I thought it would be great if we could get everyone to check in here as you get setup on the service and begin racing. Give your impressions, share race stories, etc. As soon as they get to a point where they will allow some private league play on iRacing I will definitely spear head putting together some CMS stuff there for us to enjoy.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! The wait is killing me.

1000+ invitations are supposed to go out this week sometime. I hope I am one of the chosen ones..........

I put you on my invite list Wes so you should get your invite this week. Let me know when you get it and lets organize an iRacing night starting weekly as people begin to get going on the service. Maybe Monday or Tuesday nights would be fun.

My understanding is that not everyone who was invited by a tester will get an official invitation on this first round. With 700 Beta Testers and 10 invites each, the 1000 invites going out this week doesn't capture everyone that was invited by a Beta tester.

Shane, there was a window that each BETA Tester had to invite 10 friends, of which the invites are scheduled to be sent out this week. I first offered my 10 invites to the "community leaders" here at CMS as a way to thank them for all their contributions to helping our community grow. They snatched up all 10. So I didnt have any extras. But I am sure there will be another round of invites that can be offered to new members again in the future.

Wes, I just checked and everyone's asking for the status of the invites over at the iRacing member forums. But the status is still "sometime soon", so I would be watching your email as you should get it anytime.

I'd be surprised if it didnt come sometime before the end of the week.
