    Did you see this about iRacing.com:

    Not yet, though, as iRacing remains in the testing stage, with a probable spring debut. The price has not been set, but expect an online subscription to cost less than $500 a year.

    Those of you expecting it to be aimed for the serious test drivers have hit the nail on the head....check out this article http://www.orlandosentinel.com/class...2851700.column

    I'm guessing it'll be $40 a month, which would be $480 and technically less than $500. Honestly, I don't know what series/sim I'd be willing to pay $40 a month for.

    I am sure I will probably try it for a few months assuming they allow you to purchase it that way. I hope they dont make us commit to a 12 month purchase at a time. I figure if I can check it out for a few months and I like it then I may continue on, and if I dont then I can always opt out. I am betting though that this thing is going to be great. I mean come on, Dave Kraemer is the godfather of Sim Racing and he has all the creative freedoms he's ever wanted with a bankroll for this project from John Henry. I expect it to be very very good.

    I'll prolly try it too, at least for a month.
    Games I own and are IMO

    GLP=Legendary
    Nascar 1999=ok
    Nascar 3 =Groundbreaking!
    N4=N3 w/ a graphic update and Less than groundbreaking
    N2002=N4 w/ another graphic update sorta
    N2003=Legendary status achieved again!

    iRacing=For Dave Kaemmer's sake better be UFB or the forums will be out of control,LOL
    I guarantee the "Haters" are getting warmed up for this one

    If we are going to be paying $40/month to use this sim then it better be about 1000 times better than rFactor. For $39.99 I can use just about any race car that has ever seen asphalt. They had better be prepared for 24/7 support and will have to guarantee 50 car fields for me to pay this kind of money.
