So what's everyone think of Dave Kraemer's upcoming iRacing project? He's the mastermind behind GPL and the N200x series (NASCAR). It looks pretty interesting to me. Cant wait to see something released that we can try. I wander how much it will cost and rather it will be a subscription model or not.

Well, from everything I'd heard in the past, it sounds like it's multiplayer only, and will be a subscription as well... personally, I don't car how good the game is, if I have to pay $30+ dollars in the first place, I'm not going to pay $10-20 a month on top of that... got enough bills as it is.

Also, from the sounds of previous interviews, etc., it's multiplayer, but you have to play on their systems in their events and earn points to move up... so start off racing the crappy/slow cars, and if/when you get enough points online, you'd get to race with the next level of cars. I want to be able to race with whomever I choose, whenever I choose, in whatever cars are included in the game.

Like rFactor's offline system, sans cheats... I personally hate any game like this that tells you what you can and can't race/access... one thing if it's an FPS, or something, but for a racing/sports game, no thanks...
