Default Milwaukee Mile in a Truck (iRacing)

Does anyone have a feel for what a good lap time is? I turned like a 31.8 ... what setup are you guys using?

I have not turned any laps here yet. At Daytona I used a setup from the South region message board. It was slightly better than the "advanced" that comes with the truck. If any of you don't know, in the latest build they included some setups for all the cars in the game. The advanced setups seem to be a pretty good starting point.

I am able to turn some 31.6 and 31.7 in the truck now with a setup I found from the South Message Board Ricky.

I've hit 4's and 5's w/ the default advanced setup but only for a couple laps pushing it way too hard.

I just ran a race late night, was a blast, Had I timed my pit stop correctly I would have won it ... instead I finished 6th after being one of the only trucks to have to pit under green with 15 laps to go (120 lap race). ... oh well, live and learn I guess race pace was much slower than I thought, I had 2nd fastet lap time with a 31.4xx. we had about 3 or 4 cautions in the first 60 laps, so I had planned to pit on the next one -- as it turned out we had a 60 lap green flag run to the end -- lol. absolutely love the truck in iRacing!

We need to all pick the same practice session and join up and run together. We could even run our own "race" in there if noone else joined.
