Default PC Gamer iRacing Andy Mahood this month

in the Sim Column. He basically says that we should have the sim (iRacing) within the next 1-2 months. So , shouldnt be long before this baby is out and we can start trying it out.

I am still way to iffy about this game........

It might be that it doesn't have any cars that intrest me except the Radicals, but I have those for rFactor (hehehe - Helping them finish the mod). I really like the selection for tracks but I need cars to run on those cool tracks.

I guess what I am saying is they need to WOW me.

I still remember all the mess from the guys, and I already paid a monthly fee to pay WOW. I don't have the $ to play and that only for s=certain tracks and cars. I understand their business model, but in sim racing its not going to to turn a profit, especially after the long development put into it already.
    I have no signature.

Same here I can't wait to get my hands on it, and I am optimistic it's going to be very good ... I just hope we have an option to run some sort of private club or league with it ... rather than just the big ladder system concept. PS, Welcome aboard Shane, always good to see new faces on the boards ...

Ladder System is like race2Play where you are basically racing to accumlate stats against a very large community with rankings and all that kind of stuff, and typically (at least in the beginning) you wont know many of the guys you are racing with. Kind of like ranked based pickup races, where you advance as you gain more skill. It's a cool concept, but it's very different from racing in a very personal and organized club league (like this one, or others made of regular members).
