    Default Season 4 Schedule Posted

Season 4 is about to start in iRacing. They just released the schedule today. I am looking forward to finally moving up to D class. I'll be racing up in the Silverado Trucks and Formula Mazda! They also added a radical series for B class.

Pit stops and yellow flags will be added this time. Yellow flags will be in the oval B and C class races. Resets have been adjusted to only allow one per race.

Here's the schedule for iRacing members.

Cool sounds like it's evolving nicely. I need to get back on it at some point.

Hey Bob. I have a Class D licence and am at 4.50. I am pretty sure I will be able to race "up" in the Class C Truck but will still only have a class C licence. Is this correct? I am able to run the Mazda now so I would assume the trucks would be the same way. If not I need to do alot of racing the rest of the week in the 2 official series to get to 4.99.

If your in class D right now then at the end of this week you will be promoted to class C. The truck is going to be a class C car so you will be able to race the truck no matter what your SR. Being in class C you will be able to race up to class B when your SR is above 4.0 which will be the Silver Crown on the ovals.

Quick question for the Champion iRacers:

Do the late model (Impala SS now) races tend to be close with large packs and exciting races? Or mostly spread out running?

I really don't want to invest a whole lot more money into iRacing right now as I think the ala carte car/track pricing is on the over-priced side, but good, exciting oval racing sounds like it could be fun.

    Thanks for your reviews.

The late model races do tend to be very close..but...if you want to do some oval racing I would say..buy the truck cause there will be a zillion people doing it starting Saturday
