So hard to resist new content

So, I was resisting buying any more cars or tracks (I have the default content plus the Skip Barber tracks and car). I told myself that buying more content would be a bad idea because it would just distract me from the only series I can actually compete in. I know next season I will be running Mazda, but I figured I'd hold off. I also really want the Barber Motorsports track because I love it and I also figured the Radical would be a nice car to have in my garage for playing around until I reach that level.

So, the self-discipline had been going fine and then I got a bunch of cash from my folks for my birthday to "by something I'll enjoy". Well, how on earth now can I avoid buying Mazda + required tracks + Barber + Radicals?!?

Well, I have found out that if you purchase 3 items or more, you get 10% off. I figured it was something like this because when I purchased Skip Barber + VIR + Infineon, I saved 10%. Well, I have learned that you actually move to 20% savings if you purchase 6 items or more. As it stands now, I know I will eventually want the Radical, and sooner than that I will need the Mazda plus Silverstone and Road America. I am a huge fan of Birmingham (Barber Motorsports park), so that is definitely on my wishlist right now. So, that is 5 items. If I can get one more item to buy, it will basically cost another $3 (assuming a $15 item), so now I am sort of stuck waiting until Sebring is released so that I can make it 6.

So for anyone who hasn't already got the skips, consider buying the skips plus the mazda and it's tracks so that you can save an added 10%.

CAME IN SECOND LAST NIGHT IN THE ROOKIE LEGENDS CUP RACE with no incidents


i got up to third for a long while and kept my cool and my line and pace creeping up ... at the last turn i passed the guy in second..was on his butt near the end being carefull too.... was my best finish ever in a race.

the advanced Rookie race i got 5th with no incidents
