Default Spec Racer Ford is FREE!

I didn't see that one coming.

Some additions this season include the Spec Racer Ford, which becomes our advanced rookie road car – and is FREE to all members. Enjoy!!

Once all the content is provided with the subscription....then maybe...but until I actually own something that I buy, instead of paying an additional fee above the leasing of the software...

Spec Racer is a kick in the pants. Agile and quick but low enough power that the races so far have been packs of cars battling it out.

    Two thumbs up.

My thoughts exactly. Great little race car. It should provide for some really close racing.

Would anyone be interested in having a set day/time where all the CMS iracing drivers get together to practice and race the Spec Racer this season?

I have a crazy schedule right now, so I would only be able to do it on the weekends(I was thinking Saturday afternoons/nights so we don't overlap the fun series). I don't know if there is enough of us to make it a worthwhile effort. I just know I have a lot more fun practicing with friends.

sounds cool I will have to check it out. Wes have you thought about creating a CMS league at iRacing? I would be interested in making some of the events. I can't commit right now to being the one to be the league admin -- but if someoone else could do that part ... I would bet we'd have some fun and get a number of guys to run ...

I don't think we will see leagues until next season David. I will definitely set one up for Champion when they are available.
