Smile Need for Speed Shift Getting Nice Reviews

Not a full sim, but looks to be moddable and getting some very favorable reviews. Might be worth picking up just for the cool graphics alone and fun factor. I may grab a copy.

Need for Speed SHIFT brings a true driver's experience to some of the world's most iconic racing tracks, including the storied Brand's Hatch in the UK. The game also features the largest roster of high-performance cars in Need for Speed history including race cars such as the Pagani Zonda F, Porsche 911 GT2 and Lotus Elise. Players are thrust into the loud, intense, and athletic experience of racing a car from the driver's perspective through the combination of perception based G-forces, the hyper reality of the cockpit view, and the all-new brutally disorienting crash dynamic. Need for Speed SHIFT features an accurate, accessible physics-based driving model that allows you to feel every impact, every change of track surface and every last bit of grip as you push yourself to the edge. I noticed the nice reviews from the general gaming sites, but really wanted to see what other sim racers thought. I don't really have the time or inclination for a racing game, but if it is capable of near-sim levels, then I'll buy.

Did anyone get the code for the BMW GT2? Apparently you received if you pre-ordered. I bought a copy after the fact and received a code for the Porsche Cayman S.

You can download the demo and give it a try... unfortunately, the demo just crashed for me when starting a race... but I got to place with all the settings screens.
