netKar Pro 1.1 - Public Beta Released

Kunos Simulazioni has released a public beta version of their upcoming 1.1 update for netKar Pro. The beta test will be held in three stages, each adding new features to the simulation.

The first beta adds a new user interface and lots of other changes to the simulation, Beta 2 will be adding the Abarth 500 and the Aosta track.

Changelog:

Graphics User Interface (GUI)
- 100% new GUI program (netKar PRO_NT.exe) with localization
- Improved in-sim setup layout
- New behaviour for the top bar
- Added “count down” in seconds to the “go to grid button”

CONTROLS
- Add mouse steer control
- Added multiple keyboard configurations controls
- Added “start button” mappable on the steering wheel
- Improved replay controls
- Improved shifter support
- Added real device rotation support

GRAPHICS
- New shaders for cars and tracks
- Added “PitOut” board to show the direction of the track

PHYSICS
- New “vibrational” tyre model for all the cars
- Improved differential modeling
- Updated tyres data for the F2000
- Fixed a bug appearing at ~90 deg slip angle and camber
- Simplified telemetry setup and save
- AIM configuration is now persistent

AUDIO
- New core audio engine based on Microsoft XAudio2 interface
- New brake squeal sound

MULTIPLAYER
- New central server system
- Fixed bugs on network load on nkserver
- Added blue flags
- New “rotational” prediction code
- New “retire” funcionality
- Added main lobby chat
