I have GPL. I used to drive it some. Great sim. My only problem now is sound.....or, rather, its complete absence Something to do with the fact that my MB has integrated sound. I checked all the sites and spoke with a few "experts" regarding fixing it. No one was able to come up with a solution except that I might be able to fix it by adding a sound card, but absolutely everything else runs fine so I am reluctant to change things just for one application. But, it is a great game.

Yep one of the longest running GPL leagues on the Internet and many of us ran there for a long time; including Mike Tyler, myself, Larry Ford and others. Bob Simpson and the guys that run the GPL league at VOR are some of the best around! Tough group of low GPL ranks there too. For anyone interested in running GPL you should check them out. I think Joe Owens may still run with them actively in the GPL league and may be able to provide more info.

GPL was and still is my favorite sim, I bought it the first week it was available up here in Canada. I just might install it and have a go again. I remember how frustrating it was trying to learn to control them beasts, my favorite was the Ferrari, but once ya got them figured out boy were they a blast to drive.
