Hey this weekend is the 12 Hours of Sebring!!! Good time to check that one out and see how it looks against the real thing!

I'd love to do Sebring....it's not as nice as the one we had for GTP, but with some spit and polish it could be!!

Also, the Sebring track was a convert from F1C, and has some serious FPS issues...but I will fix that at lunch today and post an updated SCN and GDB file to drop in it and try out...

Thanks guys for testing these tracks, as I think Kevin Cinnamon is re-thinking the remainder of the schedule for the V8/PCC season and he agrees that Enna (and probably Tres Riv) need to be replaced with something and wanted suggestions from me. I have Watkins Glen Long just about ready to go (well, almost!), but found these tracks as well to check out. So thoughts on these tracks, as far as the track working well and if you think there's enough room for multi-class racing.

I need to give Kevin a recommendation early this evening, as well as a download for the track to be used on Monday...I'm thinking Sebring, and I'm editing the SCN and GDB files now....

Tim, I'll try and do some testing first thing when I get home from work this evening, and give you some feedback before you talk with Kevin. I don't know the one track you posted, but Sebring should be much better (ie. wider, room to race) than Enna for both PCC and V8 together. Along the same lines, I would think Watkins G would be good, A1 Ring is a possibility (same track from EA's F1, right? It's wide, fairly fast throughout from what I recall). Silverstone is also a good track from this standpoint.

Thanks John...I agree with everything you said.

I'm attaching replacement SCN and GDB files to be placed in the Locations/Sebring1993/Sebring1993 folder of the track installation overwriting the existing files. This should help the framerates a LOT!

Also, do a day to night transition in your testing by setting up a session to start at, say, 2pm and set the time rate to 45X or 60X and let me know if anything weird happens or something is missing.

Hey guys, VOR is staying with Enna for this weeks's race to prevent any problems or complaining about a schedule change the week of the race....but they do want to look at other tracks...

So....

Kevin was very interested in seeing the following (in no particular order):

Watkins Glen Long
Sebring
LeMans

and I think Dijon is a great multi-class track, but I want everyone else's opinion....suggestions? thoughts?

OH Man!! I just got done with rewiring my wheel and pedals. I needed to do that REAL bad. The telephone wiring is GONE! WOO HOO!!!
Now, I was looking forward to running some Sebring, but if we are staying with Enna, I'd better get practice there.
