    Default Car res.

Hey guy's. I'm really not having an issue with frame rates, but do you think it would be worthwhile to use the 1024's? Seems like that resolution is high enough with 1024 to still have good looking cars.
    Had do you think???

I'm going to try out those cars tomorrow night Paul....just to see if it helps me. 1024x1024 is definitely a decent resolution car skin, and that's why I asked Kevin not to name it a "low-res" carset. In my opinion, the 2048x2048 carset was hi-res, and the 1024 was more like "standard-res"

But here's what I'm going to do Paul....

I'm going to copy the AusH6V8 and PCC folders in my Vehicles folder into a backup location to keep them all set up.

Then I'll insert the 1024 package for tomorrow night's race.

If I didn't get enough out of it, i'll just copy the folders back, and that's that.

Me too Tim. I am using the high rez cars for now, but if you get significant improvement in frame rates I'll convert to the 1024 versions as well.
