This is the stopping point for me....V1.5, it's not perfect, but it works...

Tim it works great! I just finished about 5 laps on it, with 10 AI cars. Was getting 68 FPS sitting on pit road in my stall and between 60 and 70 on the track!!! Really hope we get to run this version in Monday's race! Let me know once you hear back from Mike Tyler and Kevin regarding it!!
