GT Legends on my new system

WOW!!! I got GT Legends installed today on my new system with the ATI Radeon x1900 XTX and I have just about every graphical option maxed out. It is stunning. Such a great looking game. Definitely the best one I have ever seen on my PC for a racing game. Even with all the stuff maxed out and this game is intensive, I am still getting around 50-80 FPS with a full field of cars in a practice race at Donnington.

I keep going back to GT Legends...I think it's the best driving and looking sim to date.
I have a friend that ownes the 914Club, and he put together a racing league from his club members (real 914 owners and racers) and they race in the winter months (914's only) I'm going to join them and do some 914 racing myself.
When a schedule comes for it out I'll let everyone know!
We have about 35 or 40 different 914-6's for the game now.If anyone wants them I can put them up for download...just let me know.

That is very interesting Bob. I love GT Legends as well. In fact that may be a good sim for us to consider a fun race or two in here at Champion? I would definitely be interested in knowing more about the 914 club and the races they run ... let me know when you know the site and schedule.

The sight is the 914Club.com and I've been harrassing them to get started again,LOL...so hopefully soon.
I'll let you know.
Heck yeah lets do some 914 racing here!
I have a master DVD w/ about 700 cars and lots of addon tracks I can mail you if you want to add them to your server just let me know.

I own GTL, but never ran more than 5 laps...just couldn't get into it. I love racing online too much to mess with SimBin products

I belong to the NoGrip league and we race GT Legends every sunday.
I tell you what!...it's some of the best online racing I've ever done!
The choice of cars and track changes every week so it keeps it exciting.
NoGrip is also starting a GTR2 league as soon as we all have it and I will probably join that also since our new rFactor mod does'nt seem to be working out for me.

Bob, I can't tell you how much I hate it that the mod isn't working on your machine....and I have no way of explaining why, and I'm out of ideas. Especially when you have a machine that's better than 98% of the current VOR members.

I won't stop looking at what could be the culprit, rest assured...but I am glad to know that you have other venues. But I'd sure like to continue racing with you at VOR.

Tim you need to spend more than 5 laps with GTL!

It's a great sim for sure, it took me a little while to get used to it, but I love it. I think the Physics are the best in the ISI Genre I have run.

Bob, tonight I messed around with the Aston Martin car shape in 3ds Max 8 and using the weld command was able to reduce the number of vertices on that car chassis from over 14,000 to 2,700...I'll take a look at how to take the car and export it back to rFactor and see what we can do to get that switched out. Then maybe the frame rate issue will be gone for good...
