    Default GTL Installation?

    Hi!,

My copy of GTL arrived this afternoon. I'll be installing it today (Saturday)

What's been y'all's experience with StarF*@!* on GTL?

Any special instructions/procedures for GTL installation?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Starforce is a real pain, but I had zero problems installing and running the game. Just take care of the CD :-)

    Cheers
    Steve

    Thanks!

I got it installed, but I appear to have a small problem. The web site says your online code should be on the back of your manual. My game only had 1 manual in it, a small 20 page document with no code printed on the back - Did I not get a complete game?

    Perplexed...

    DA,

The starf!@*$ code was on the CD case. It's asking for an online code when I try to go onto the internet for online racing...

seems like from what I am reading you either need to email or call them to get the code.

It can be a pain, and I think it was Paul that had the same code issue confusion with the combo GTL/GTR2 deal. My GTL was standalone, and had two codes on the jewel case. I hate having to have the CD in to play it though too.

Also, you'll need to register a username/password to join online. write it down, and make sure you eave it to automatically populate, otherwise you'll forget... I have probably 200+ usernames/passwords between work, servers, forums, etc. What a pain.
