    Default GTR2 Car/Track Unlocker

Apparently, GTR2 is like GTL where you have to unlock cars and tracks...but here's how to unlock everything:

The real way to unlock everything...stop editing those gdb's you know its madness

Here's the real way to do it...Make a new empty file called SDNDTG.DYN it must NOT have any other file extension on the end of it and must be in cap's.

Put it in the root folder of GTR2 e.g. C:\ProgramFiles\GTR2 or where ever else you have it installed.

EDIT: no need to make a new player it will work with an existing one.

    Cool!

Thanks, That worked great. Picked up GTR2 at Walmart yesterday for $28.70 Canadian, and it came with a copy of GTL. Think I'll give that to a bud as I already bought it for myself.

I have to say that I really love GTR2 so far... physics are great, and the tracks and cars are terrific as well. One of the features I've been having the most fun with is the driving school... It also has a time trial feature that's very neat, where you run a practice lap at a track, and then it ghosts a car running your best lap, with the line and braking acceleration etc. for you to run against. Very cool and polished game.

I haven't raced online, but if the multiplayer code is decent, maybe we can run some fun races with GTR2.

David, It was packaged together in one of the 4 disk holders. The box has bonus edition printed right on the front, so it's a plan to get more copies of GTL out there I guess. Just did some more laps and that Lister is fun to drive.

Thanks for the tip!! I picked this and GTL up this morning. Had to turn a few things down for GTR2 to run smooth but it still looks and drives fantastic.

Not sure what you mean about a game code and an online code. The CD case just had 2 stickers with online play codes. One that says GTR 2 online play, and the other just says online play code so I figured it was for GTL. When I loaded GTR2 I just used the code from the case when promted and it worked. Going to try the unlock file on GTL now, so I can play with other cars and tracks.

Man I hate to sound stupid but I have no choice here

Make a new empty file called SDNDTG.DYN it must NOT have any other file extension on the end of it and must be in cap's.

Put it in the root folder of GTR2 e.g. C:\ProgramFiles\GTR2 or where ever else you have it installed
    What do you do then?
