GTR2 Tracks

I wanted to share with you the number of tracks that I have found and downloaded for GTR2...they were converted from their GTL counterparts for use in GTR2, and I have not tested each of them yet to see if they will work in our upcoming series, but if one or more catches your eye, I'd be more than happy to post a few for download to test out!

Are these standalone conversions? Many of the conversions I saw at first required you to have GTL installed with the track there. Rather than renaming files and converting, some of those tracks just pointed to the GTL file structure, and I don't have GTL

I'll post a link to download those tonight Wes....and I saw an updated version of Road America on it's way, complete with rain sheen on the road and so forth.

Anyone try out these tracks yet? Are there any others that someone wants to check out? I'm short on time....

I tried out Road America and Sebring the other night. They both seem OK. RA is just like the original version before you updated it (yellowish grass, some of the signs not as updated like the Sargento bridge, etc.). They both work and drive well... I used the Time Trial with ghosted laps, and it worked fine.

I havent had an opportunity to do much racing this week. but Hope to get caught up some with it this weekend and next week. As far as GTR 2 goes, I would say we use the tracks that came with the game for the first several races to just keep it simple. Those are some great circuits as well. Then we could branch out to other tracks after we run some of the included tracks.
